The trust was established in 2nd December, 1947. The trust started the activities of educational help from the year 1948-49 with a corpus of Rs.3.50 lacs.

SPS provides financial help by way of interest fee Loan for college fee, Examination fees, Hostel fees etc.(Inclusive of Mess charges i.e. food expenses) to the needy students (Boys & Girls) to prosecute their higher (College).

During the course of the span of activities in last 65 years the trust has helped nearly 3000 students for prosecuting their college/Technical institutions studies.

The main object of the trust is education. For the academic year 2013/14 trust with the help of few other trusts has disbursed loan to 134 students to the tune of Rs.57,34,730/-
